Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a visitor enters a name or date of birth into a search box, the query is sent to the third-party company running that tool. That company processes the entry and returns its results. Coffee County Warrant Records does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor emails the operator, the message is kept so a reply can be made. It is not shared outside the operating organization unless a valid legal obligation requires that disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Technical information may be recorded when a page loads, including a device IP address, browser and version, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent, referring site, and visit timestamps.
- Connection and browser details
- Pages visited and time spent on them
- The site that referred the visit, when available
- Date and time of the request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies may be stored on a device to help measure site use and performance. Analytics tools may combine visit data to show which pages receive traffic or where visitors leave. Browser controls can block cookies, though some functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Keep pages available and improve loading speed
- Send search entries to the provider that runs the tool
- Review aggregate page use and improve unclear material
- Find and repair technical faults
- Display advertising that may reflect a visitor's interests
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of Coffee County warrants or personal warrant records. It provides general information about the Coffee County sheriff, courts, and city offices that may hold official files. Search-box entries from visitors are not assembled into consumer reports or third-party warrant files. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Official county records may be requested under the Tennessee Public Records Act from the government office that holds them. That law governs public records held by government, not the visitor data practices of this private site.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search fields shown on the site may be operated by outside companies. Information entered there is handled under the provider's own privacy policy, including its retention and sharing terms. Coffee County Warrant Records does not control those practices. Review the provider's terms before entering names, dates of birth, or other personal details.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to sheriff, court, state, federal, public-records, or search-provider pages. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's policy applies. Read it before submitting personal information.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to track activity across websites for targeted ads. That activity is governed by their notices, not by the technical systems of this site.
Who Might See Your Data
The operator does not sell personal data. Information may be handled by:
- A search provider that receives a query
- Analytics services that measure traffic
- Advertising networks that place ads
- A government office or law-enforcement body responding to valid legal process
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable standard security steps are used to protect information collected by the site. Internet-connected systems cannot be guaranteed free of every risk, so the operator cannot promise that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If an operator learns that a minor has sent personal data, the information will be deleted.
Your Data Rights
Tennessee's Information Protection Act, Tenn. Code Ann. §§ 47-18-3301 et seq., applies only to covered controllers and qualifying data practices. If it applies, the law provides rights to request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy of data provided by the consumer, and to opt out of certain processing. The law has scope limits and exceptions; this policy does not promise that every request qualifies.
- Ask whether covered personal information is being processed and request access
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion or a portable copy where the law applies
- Opt out of covered sale, targeted advertising, or profiling
Tenn. Code Ann. §§ 47-18-3303 and 47-18-3304 describe the Act's scope and consumer rights.
Updates to This Policy
The operator may revise this notice as practices change. A revised copy and new effective date will appear on this page. Visitors should review it again when returning if they want to track the current practices.
